On Sunday 02.04.2023 which was equivalent to 11.09.1444 AH, Gajiganna Youth Development Initiative – GYDI donated succor materials to the victims of Gajiganna fire inferno to cushion their hardship. The items includes:

1. 50 pieces of plastic drinking cups.

2. 50 pieces of plastic buckets.

3. 50 pieces of plastic kettles.

4. 50 pairs of shoes.

5. 25 peace of mats (given by MSF).

While presenting the items to the Village Head of Gajiganna, GYDI Executive Director, Abubakar Abatcha commiserated with them and prayed for Almighty Allah protect future occurrence and replenish what they lost. However, GYDI also donated sum of thirty thousand naira (30,000.00) to her affected members by the fire incident to cushion their immediate hardship.

In the same vein, GYDI thoroughly sensitized them on fire handling and assured their total commitment for the development of the community.

While receiving the items on behalf of the victims, the village Head of Gajiganna, Ba Zanna Bukar Majama expressed gigantic appreciations to GYDI for the king gesture and untiring supports to the community. Moreover, Ba Majama appeals to GYDI to prepare and present community-wide sensitization on fire handling and monthly sanitation in order to mitigate the risk of fire outbreak and keep the community clean.

In the same development, GGSS camp chairman and ward head of Kalmari, Malam Kamfut and Bulama Kyari gave big thanks to GYDI for their unflinching supports and selfless services to humanity.
